A horrifying video posted on the internet just a few days ago shows how cruel Chinese can be when it comes to dogs.
A dog meat vendor can be seen in the footage mercilessly bludgeoning dogs in the middle of the street while passers by watch indifferently how they perish in pain and agony.
The film was taken on the streets of Bozhou, China.
The dogs are hit in the head with a wooden club until they stop moving and then he slashes their throats. They are left there on the street in a pool of blood while the vendor awaits for his customers.
It is imperative that we keep pushing for animal rights in China and that is why I am asking you to sign and share this petition. Urge the Chinese government to cross the line into a new era. An era where dogs are kept as pets and not farmed for food. An era where they are allowed to be loving creatures and they get the respect they deserve.
