We mailed 18,749 signatures to the United Nations Organizations-Food and Agricultural Organization, World Health Organization, Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, World Tourism Organization and World Trade Organization-today by US priority mail with signature confirmation. We look forward to the UN's official responses to our petition and will share them with you as soon as we receive them. The United Nations is headed by a South Korean national, Secretary General Ki-Moon Ban and we hope that his organization would not ignore this very important and urgent issue to end the heinous cruelty that brutalizes and kills millions of companion animals in his own country each year.

We promise to continue our campaign until the South Korean government finally bans the dog meat trade for good.

Meanwhile please continue to speak out for the animals of South Korean dog and cat meat trade by boycotting all South Korean products such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Kia, SK, Daewoo (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/global500/2012/countries/SouthKorea.html)....and their tourism. Also, please continue to share this petition because signatures get delivered electronically real time as well to many of the South Korean government officials including President Geun-Hye Park.
We also want to bring your attention to this new 19 minute documentary by Stop It! Korea Campaign that exposes the shockingly cruel world of South Korea's dog meat industry:
