| The Animal Legal Defense Fund conducted an undercover investigation of a pig breeding facility in Nebraska owned and operated by The Maschhoffs, LLC, a major supplier for companies including Hormel Foods. What our undercover team found was rampant animal neglect and mistreatment. We saw mother pigs and piglets suffering in their confinements, going days without food, and being left to endure severe suffering long after their ailments had them marked for slaughter. |
