Following on from the success of three sheep races and a pig race cancelled using Care2 petitions:
The
Masham Sheep Fair in Yorkshire will be help on Saturday 30th September
and Sunday 1st October. Sheep races are due to be held on both days.
Sheep are naturally timid and quiet animals. Sheep are not natural runners and making them race is unnatural, exploitative, degrading and frightening.
Animals are not ours to use for entertainment. There are many other
things going on at this fair - the sheep race is totally unnecessary.
Please sign my petition to tell the organisers to cancel this event!
