Aug 13, 2015 — Here is another GOOD news to share.

Another truck loaded with about 400 dogs was intercepted on August 9th, outside Beijing.
This time, the rescue went smoothly. Dogs were quickly taken off the trucks and they are now in a safe holding place.
Dog truck drivers were fined approximately $600 for transporting dogs without proper papers, which is a substantial loss for the drivers who also lost revenue from their delivery. The fine is a big breakthrough as drivers were not previously penalized that severely. If people involved the dog meat trade start to understand the risks and increased costs of their endeavor, the battle on the dog meat trade has moved a significant step forward.

We believe, compassion is without borders and China attitudes towards animals is evolving., We also believe local Chinese activists were empowered by the momentum built from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and support from people just like you who spoke out on Change.org. We have more campaigns coming out and will need your support. We are confident that together we can stop this heinous dog and cat meat trade in China. Thank you so much for staying with us through this difficult journey:
