 Animal activists in California are gearing up for the biggest fight in recent history. A ballot initiative called the Prevention of Cruelty to Farm Animals Act would require all pork and veal sold in California be produced without crates, and all eggs produced and sold in the state be cage-free. “If you see something that you know is morally wrong and you have a chance to change that, you probably should,” says activist and Farm Sanctuary member Vince Plodzien, who took time out to visit Farm Sanctuary in Acton, CA, where he outlined just how fellow easy it is to get involved in making that change possible.
