May 19, 2017 — Dairy milk’s reputation is going sour, and it’s no wonder with investigations like COK’s video exposing egregious cruelty to cows, and consumers growing leery of dairy milk as a “healthy” product. As NPR puts it, the appeal of cow’s milk has “curdled”.

In a recent article, NPR cites the biggest source of this dairy decline as young generations turning to plant-based milks, just like their parents are already doing.

Also mentioned is concern among consumers over the use of growth hormones in cows to boost milk production, as well as the impact of the animal rights movement in advocating plant-based options like almond and soy milks. Click to read more!
