Have you ever wanted to see Yellowstone in winter, dreamed about looking into the eyes of a wild buffalo, or have a hunger to challenge the governments who harass and kill our national mammal?
Then you are ready to come to Buffalo Field Campaign. Located in beautiful southwest Montana on the edge of Yellowstone National Park, our 2016-2017 field season is just around the corner, and we need front lines volunteers to come stand in defense of these gentle giants! BFC’s field season runs from November through May. We are in the field every day from sunrise to sunset, and sometimes through the night, monitoring the buffalo’s migration and documenting all actions made against them. We are out on skis, snowshoes, vehicles, foot, and bikes, no matter the weather and the snowier the better! We provide room, board, gear, and training, while the buffalo, other wildlife, and breathtaking landscape provide memories and experiences for a lifetime — all you have to do is get here.
