Le lait, un ami pour la vie?

Le 1er juin, c’est la journée mondiale du lait. L’occasion ou jamais de se demander si on en a tant besoin que ça…
Pourquoi ça ne réussit pas à tout le monde? Pour bien digérer le lait, il faut fabriquer suffisamment de lactase, l’enzyme qui permet d’assimiler le lactose, son sucre. Or 3 adultes sur 4 n’en sécrètent justement pas assez. Résultat: ventre gonflé, ballonnements, voire douleurs au dos… C’est votre cas? Tentez une suppression pendant 15 jours pour voir ce qui se passe, et ré-introduisez pour voir si ça passe ou ça casse.. L’étape d’après: faites un test, car si l’intolérance est avérée, les effets peuvent être franchement désagréables (problèmes d’articulations, de peau..), voire plus graves à long terme. Et passez directement à la case « ersatz »…
Pourquoi ce n’est pas la peine d’en abuser? Pour plein d’autres raisons (choisissez celles qui vous parlent le plus): 1. Il n’a aucun impact sur la solidité des os, contrairement à ce que l’on nous a répété pendant des années (ah, la fameuse carence en calcium!). La preuve? Les peuples qui n’en consomment pas ou peu (les Asiatiques, notamment) ont beaucoup moins  de problèmes d’ostéoporose que les Européens du Nord, champions de sa consommation ; 2. les produits laitiers sont riches en matières grasses animales saturées, ce dont il ne faut pas abuser ; 3. les vaches, en rejetant du méthane, sont responsables d’autant d’émission de gaz à effet de serre en France que 11 millions de voitures (!).
Par quoi on remplace? Les bons ersatz.. Par des « laits végétaux », en variant les plaisirs: lait d’amande, lait de riz, lait d’avoine, lait d’épeautre, ou pourquoi pas du lait de soja (on traitera son cas dans un futur article)… On les choisit nature, car dès qu’ils sont aromatisés ou étiquetés « douceur », ils sont beaucoup plus sucrés. En termes caloriques, ils sont équivalents au lait demi-écrémé (entre 40 et 50 kcal selon les végétaux et les marques). Evidemment, on les prend bio et garantis sans OGM!

Tout ce que vous avez toujours voulu savoir sur l'intolérance au lait (et en particulier au lactose) sans jamais oser le demander se trouve dans notre révolution n°8.
Pour plus de détails sur l'absence de liens entre la consommation de lait et la solidité des os, se référer à l'étude d'Harvard, portant sur 96 000 personnes, durant 20 ans, qui n’a trouvé aucun lien entre la consommation de lait à l’adolescence et le risque de fracture de la hanche en vieillissant.

Il y a beaucoup à dire de la manifestation anti-corrida qui s’est déroulée à Alès, et tout d’abord un immense merci pour les 5000 manifestants qui ont convergé dans la capitale des Cévennes, battant ainsi le record d’affluence de l’an dernier. Après Rodilhan en octobre 2013 mise en état de siège par son maire, la crispation paranoïaque du pouvoir est montée d’un cran puisque cette fois nous avons eu droit à une ville placée sous plan Vigipirate, ce qui nous a créé de sérieux obstacles. Notre seul regret a été de n’avoir pu sauver les taureaux, victimes une fois de plus de cette pratique barbare dont nous obtiendrons tôt ou tard l’abolition.

-Many annual Fiestas Mayores take place in these days in Spain. One of them is “el Toro de la Vega” celebration, which is held in Tordesillas (Valladolid) in the second week of September, in honor of the patron Saint of the town, the Virgin of the Cliff. This spectacle, “The lancing of the bull”, has been going for centuries.
✦Each year a bull is driven down the street and then the bull “faces his fate”, crossing a bridge, where on the other side several men on horseback and others on foot with lances, are waiting for him to kill him. And the youth who does it will be allowed to cut off his testicles and parade them on the end of his lance. Afterwards the Town Council presents the winner with a gold badge and a lance made of forged iron.
And I (and many Spaniards) wonder: Where is the fun of this? This year there were 300 people protesting against this...The Toro de la Vega fiesta takes place in Tordesillas every September, where a bull is chased by people on foot and on horseback and speared and stabbed to death.
The “fiestas” or “feast days” are in honour of the patron Saint of the town and surrounding area, Our Lady, the Virgin of the Cliff. The bloodiest day is the Tuesday when the famous “El Toro de la Vega” run takes place.Every year, the protests against this celebration grow by the thousands. Most of society reject this cruel & barbaric fiesta and beg for it’s prohibition. The campaign is called “Broken Spear”, because of the medieval tradition of breaking a spear to act symbolically in favor of someone...

-Each year, the Canadian government gives hunters the green light to bludgeon to death hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals.on the most barbaric way! During the slaughter, baby seals are shot or repeatedly clubbed. Sealers bludgeon the animals with clubs and “hakapiks” (metal-hook–tipped clubs) and drag the seals—who are often still conscious—across the ice floes with boat hooks.They are impaled on hooks, dragged across the ice and cut open—and their pelts are often stockpiled in a warehouse!if you thought that only in China this can occur..you are wrong!
◕Hunters toss dead and dying seals into heaps and leave their carcasses to rot on the ice floes because there is no market for seal meat. Veterinarians who have investigated the slaughter have found that hunters routinely fail to comply with Canada’s animal welfare standards.
◕The Christian Science Monitor wrote: “The few terrified survivors, left to crawl through the carnage. The shouted obscenities and threats from the sealers, gunfire cracking ominously in the distance. The pitiful cries of the pups; the repellent thuds of clubs raining down on soft skulls. Sealers’ laughter echoing across the ice floes.”
◕Many seals who are killed are 3 months old or younger. Many have not yet learned how to swim or eaten their first solid meals.
◕The sealing industry claims that it is killing more seals because of an increased demand for fur. Although the U.S. banned the sale of seal fur in 1972, anyone wearing the fur of minks, rabbits, foxes, or any other kind of animal is responsible for creating a demand for fur, which pushes Canadian hunters to club more seals each year.
◕In 2009, the European Union voted to end the sale of seal products, and the U.S. Senate unanimously passed U.S. Senate Resolution 84, calling for an immediate end to the annual seal slaughter..But Canada continues to make the politic of a 'deaf'!
