On the Football World Championship organized in Russia in June‐July 2018 occasion we are seeking support of animal protection activists, societies and all kind people to STOP awful system of elimination of homeless animals for the international sport events organization.
Civil servants of Russia do it to “ensure security and pleasant stay” and “provide good image” for visitors from participating countries.
This terrible “tradition” need to be changed!
In Russia we lack good sustainable satisfying modern standards system of shelters, food and medical support for homeless cats and dogs. This is still to be developed in most humane and nature conscious ways.
At the same time huge amounts of money (the detailed information can be found at the page of our group in Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/bloodyFIFA2018 that could be used for above mentioned goals gets allotted to physical extermination (like shooting from guns, as it is currently fought against by local activists in Volgograd) of those who need people’s support, eventual cure and adoption and in fact considered in Russia as our “junior” FRIENDS.
Tenders worth $1.95million have been signed in host cities to deploy “canine KGB” deaths squads. 11 Russian cities will be drown in the blood of homeless animals. Hundreds thousands of dogs, cats and even birds will be knocked off by terrible poison or in even more cruel way.
