State of Emergency

Governor Scott requested, and President Donald Trump approved, a pre-landfall emergency declaration for the State of Florida in preparation for Hurricane Irma which will provide important preparation resources and assistance from the federal government. On Monday, September 4, Governor Scott issued Executive Order 17-235 declaring a state of emergency in all 67 counties within the State of Florida. The State Emergency Operations Center has been activated to level one, which is a full-scale, 24-hours-a-day activation.

We have 3 major storms in the Atlantic and a 4th forming. Our models are showing shifts to the east and Now The states to the north are preparing. Thank you all for your patients, I wish i had this out in the AM but hope this info helps. Irma is expected to gain strength when hitting the warmer waters just south of Florida.
