DANS LE  MEME COMBAT, CETTE PÉTITION A SIGNER D' UN AUTRE  ORGANISME QUE PETA

The New Mexico legislature has adjourned for the year, killing Senate Bill (S.B.) 552, which was a desperate attempt by agriculture industry giants to block undercover investigations from revealing the truth about the lives and deaths of animals on factory farms. This victory comes on the heels of opposition from thousands of kind consumers like you as well as an urgent letter from The Price Is Right host and longtime Republican Bob Barker appealing to legislators on behalf of PETA and urging them to oppose the bill.

Past undercover investigations of factory farms, such as those done by PETA, have resulted in historic convictions after documenting that farm workers were beating, sexually abusing, stomping, kicking, and throwing animals. New Mexico now joins Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Tennessee, and Wyoming in standing up for our right to document cruelty to animals on farms and helping to achieve justice for abused animals by rejecting bills like S.B. 552.

I'd love to help you get more active in New Mexico. E-mail me at AdamM@peta.org for free leaflets and stickers or if you're looking for ideas for helping animals in your area.

Thanks for helping to make this victory possible!

Sincerely,

AM AM
